The pleated dust collector filters are an innovation over the regular filter bags, that can be used in applications with a max continuous temperature of 130deg C. These bags use a media that is in pleated form to provide the advantage of a higher surface filtration area. The high quality “Spun Bonded Polyester Filter Media” works on the surface filtration principle and is capable of trapping dust particles as small as 0.3 Micron. D4S is a leading manufacturer of the Pleated Dust Collector Filters under its brand name X1. These products find application in a host of industries including Cement, Steel, Metallurgical, Carbon, Graphite, Lead, Powder Coating, Shot Blasting, Wood Working, Welding Fumes, Foundry, Tea, Coffee, Abrasives, Dairy, Talcum Powder, Pharmaceutical, Detergents, Food and Confectioneries and many more. The pleated media is available in 16mm/23mm/28mm/48mm pleat depths suited for various applications and dust loads.

These cartridges come with a Top Flange having 3 lugs for mounting on the tube sheet of the bag house. These are very popular across the world owing to the ease of fitment. The same cartridge can be used for both “top loading” (loading from above the clean chamber side) and “bottom loading” (loading from the dirty chamber side). This is made possible by the position of the gasket on the flange.
This design of these cartridges is such that it can be used only as a “bottom loader” filter. These cartridges have an open type top cap. The bottom cap is a closed one with a central hole of 13mm. The cartridge is mounted on to the system using a tie-rod.
