The Meltblown PP Micron Cartridge Filters have emerged as another very popular product in the depth filtration category. Molten PP fibres are impinged on a continuously rotating cylindrical mandrel. The temperature at which the PP is melted defines the micron rating. The cartridges are manufactured in different weights, which changes its retention efficiency. Moreover these cartridges are manufactured in 3 layers to provide for gradient filtration, keeping the pressure drop in check.
